Guidelines
The purpose of CW33 Kids Fund is to support 501(c)(3) organizations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area whose primary focus is youth under the age of 18, and/or agencies that have specific programs for youth under the age of 18. Our interests include, but are not limited to, the following areas:

Education
  • Positive Youth Development
  • Mentoring
  • Early Intervention
  • Recreation
  • Advocacy

Health
  • Prevention & Treatment of Childhood Disease or Disability
  • School-Based Education Programs
  • Child Abuse Prevention
  • Homelessness
  • Hunger Relief

From time to time, CW33 Kids Fund will consider grants outside these specific areas.

Geographic Priority
Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Application Procedures
Applications are considered throughout the year in the order in which they are received. The Foundation's Board of Directors meets quarterly. Grants and distributions are authorized at those meetings.

There is no guarantee of annual support.

Limitations
CW33 Kids Fund encourages grants to organizations whose primary support comes from private, non-government sources. The McCormick Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit the Tribune Company or any of its subsidiaries. Grants are not made to government entities, foundations, or re-granting organizations, or for capital campaigns or research.
