Guidelines
Grants are made in response to applications from organizations primarily in the Northern California Valley area that address the health and well-being of children, youth, and families. Other interests include, but are not limited to, education, crime prevention, and disaster relief efforts.
Application Procedures
Applications will be considered throughout the year in the order in which they are received. The foundation's board of directors meets quarterly and grants are authorized at those meetings and distributed shortly thereafter. There is no guarantee of annual support.
The McCormick Foundation does not make grants to programs that would financially benefit Tribune Company or any of its subsidiaries.
